Job description
A kind, caring and proactive Nanny sought for a Mother's Help role in Stamfordham, to support the Mother of two children as she returns to work in June on a part time basis.
Initially sought for shared care part time, the role is set to grow as Mum builds up her hours. The Nanny will be required for a mixture of light housekeeping and errands alongside shared care of the children. The children are aged 7 months and 2.7 years
Open to both experienced nannies, or junior nannies, who have come from a strong background in childcare working with nursery aged children, with good organisation skills, who are very reliable, and are able to create a harmonious approach to working in the home.
A driver would be preferable due to the location of the family home.
Duties will include:
1. Providing age-appropriate activities and games for the children
2. Maintaining high levels of supervision and a loving environment
3. Preparing and cooking healthy meals and snacks
4. Help with daily routines, preparing bottles, nappy changes, etc.
5. Taking the children out for a walk or to the park
6. Keeping toys and play areas clean and tidy
7. Running light errands and helping with grocery shopping
8. Accompanying the family out on trips, shopping, etc.
9. Light housekeeping including tidying, hoovering and ironing
10. Being flexible to the changing needs of the family as they grow
Start: June 2024
Days: 2 - 4 days per week
Hours: 4 consecutive hr per day to start with
Salary: Negotiable, dependant on experience
