Senior Chartered Development Surveyor Salary: £38,119.96, depending on experience

South West Norse currently seeking a Chartered Development Surveyor to join their team ideally on a full-time, permanent basis. Part -time may be considered for the right candidate. This role involves adding value to client assets by identifying and securing planning consents for development.
As a Development Surveyor, your main duties will include:
~ Identifying, promoting, and delivering the development potential of surplus and potentially surplus assets, adding significant value before sale to generate essential capital receipts.
~ Taking a hands-on approach to leading public consultation exercises, drafting planning applications, design and access statements, feasibility reports, and viability appraisals.
~ Representing clients at planning committee meetings and appeals, and negotiating and agreeing S.Being actively involved in all aspects of the development process, not just project management and coordination.
Post-qualification experience (PQE) as a Development Surveyor.
~ Professional Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Real Estates discipline.
~ Experience in planning and development surveying, with a strong background in producing viability appraisals.
~ Comprehensive knowledge of relevant planning legislation and familiarity with the Local Plans for the region.
~ A full UK Driving Licence to meet the travel requirements of the role.
