Salary: £30,000.00 - £42,000.00 DOE
Bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary

What will you be doing?
The role will focus on analysis and evaluation of portfolios from a wide range of clients including lenders, banks & retailers, assisting the business in acquiring debt portfolios and monitoring portfolio performance. You’ll manipulate data using SQL and other relevant software with ease and be confident in presenting your recommendations. Responsibilities include:
* Interrogating and preparing vendor data for pricing purposes.
* Assessing data profiling and quality, questioning where additional data may be needed.
* Liaising with the Acquisitions and Due Diligence teams to identify risks and opportunities.
* Analysing vendor data and understanding suitable benchmarking.
* Utilising, maintaining, understanding, developing, and improving various pricing processes.
* Producing pricing proposals in the form of investment memos, reports, and summaries of analysis outcomes for presentation to stakeholders.
* Understanding the performance of purchased portfolios, including key drivers.
* Monitoring and interrogating the profiling and quality of pre-agreed contracts.
* Supporting and producing insight from Champion/Challenger analysis for collections strategies.
* Evaluating and tracking the performance of campaigns and projects.
* Delivering analytics to support wider business recommendations and initiatives.
* Maintaining and manipulating the data warehouse using SQL and Excel.
* Documenting processes, creating reports, and conducting ad-hoc analysis as requested.
* Improving and automating processes to increase accuracy and speed of output.
What you’ll need:
* Good understanding of Data Analysis.
* Knowledge of Excel and SQL.
* Experience using and writing queries in SQL.
* MS Office experience, including MS Teams.
* Knowledge of Python is desirable.
* Strong organisational skills.
* Self-motivated with a strong ability to collaborate across teams.
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
* Resilience and agility in a fast-paced environment.
* Creativity and willingness to share new ideas.
