These locations are supported by powerful operational centres who ensure that our shipments move on time across our airfreight network. Your Responsibilities
Our Apprenticeship is a 24 month programme, combining practicalon-the-job training with study towards the International Freight ForwardingLevel 3 apprenticeship. You will work within a successful team while learningeverything you need to know whilst supported by your peers, your managers, andthe apprenticeship team within Kuehne+Nagel.
The Customer Care teams are responsible for ensuring that our customers’experience is a positive one each and every time they engage with Kuehne +Nagel to arrange their shipments.
You’ll be learning how to…
1. Pro-actively advise and consult Customers to ensure satisfaction.
2. Monitor customer shipments in order to provide proactive updates to customers and to problem solve (by collaborating with other stake-holders) in anticipation of a customer complaint
3. Knowledge exchange with the sales and account management teams.
4. Liaise with the operational care centres (OCC’s) to ensure they have all the necessary information to be able to execute shipments on our customers behalf.
5. Escalate issues which cannot be resolved to the Line manager
6. Ensure compliance with company, industry and legal standards is adhered to across the function
Your Skills and Experiences
7. The minimum entry requirementfor this apprenticeship is Five GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 / A*-D includingMaths & English)
8. Our company values candidateswho are passionate about providing excellent customer service, have a strongwork ethic, and are able to communicate effectively with others. Good planningand organization skills is important and you will need the ability to multitaskand be a self-starter.
9. Previous use of MicrosoftOutlook and Excel is beneficial.
10. Please be aware that this vacancydoes not meet the minimum requirements for visa sponsorship and forapprenticeship funding, candidates must have been resident in the EEA for atleast the last 3 years.
11. This position requires enhancedsecurity clearance checks and by applying for this role you are agreeing toparticipate in the employment screening process. Key Information:
Apprenticeship Contract:Fixed Term – 2 years
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 08.30am - 17.00pm hours per day
Place of work: Will be expected onsite full time until performance expectations met & initial training completed. If approved, opportunity to work from home 2 days a week is available.
