We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly and dynamic secretarial team within the Pathology department. This pivotal role supports the clinical and scientific teams with all administrative tasks, including patient reports and letters, ensuring they are readily available.
As our Senior Medical Secretary, you will:
1. Provide efficient and comprehensive senior medical secretarial and administrative support within a specialty and across the service unit, including support to Pathology Consultants.
2. Deputise for the Team Leader and provide PA support as needed.
3. Supervise and train less experienced staff.
4. Offer administrative support to leadership and clinical teams.
5. Extract, collate, and deliver performance data in a format that meets departmental needs.
6. Perform allocated clerical tasks to meet service requirements.
7. Undergo training to adapt to new developments within the Service.

25. oEducated to GCSE level standard English Language at Grade A-C (or equivalent)

28. oExperience of working within the NHS and an understanding of medical terminology, or equivalent experience
