Purpose The Impact & Communications Manager will understand and improve AG Communications (AG) and our clients’ environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives and support our commitment to sustainable impact. We are looking for a proactive leader, capable of designing, implementing, measuring and communicating social and environmental programs that align with our goals, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), and our stakeholders' expectations. You will drive strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and innovative solutions to enhance our impact, and represent our company online and at purpose-driven events, ensuring alignment with our values. You will join a team of four women employees and 25 consultants (we call them AG Members) working virtually and flexibly with our clients in the UK and around the world. Support AG’s mission of being a sustainable, purpose-driven organisation, consistently working to align business goals with positive impact. Key Responsibilities Partner with clients to enhance their ESG and communication practices and aligning to the UN SDGs Raise critical ESG issues affecting AG and our clients and provide recommendations to develop innovative solutions to address them Design, implement, and measure the outcomes of ESG and Communications initiatives Provide clients and their businesses with industry best practices, advanced tools, and effective implementation strategies Lead the development and execution of our ESG stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, both online and in person Develop and drive initiatives that advance equality for women and girls and climate action Work closely with the Business Manager and Environment Lead to set, measure, and benchmark key performance indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement Represent AG at industry events, sharing our vision and promoting our brand Update the team on industry trends, best practices, and relevant developments to strengthen our impact at our management meetings and all team meetings Escalate any issues or risks affecting AG’s and our stakeholders to the CEO for resolution Personal Commitments Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance AG Comms’ contributions to social and environmental impact, including focus areas like Nature & Biodiversity. Volunteer a minimum of four paid days per year in support and advocacy of gender equality and/or climate action initiatives. Complete AGs in-house Carbon Literacy training to reinforce our commitment to sustainability. Our requirements of you Show your track record in ESG, CSR, sustainability, or a similar impact-driven role. Explain your understanding and experience of ESG principles and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Share examples of leading stakeholder communication and engagement activities Strong analytical skills, with the ability to design, implement, and measure the impact of ESG initiatives. High standards of verbal and written communication skills in business-English, capable of engaging diverse audiences. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and collaborate with external partners. Passion for advancing equality and climate action, with a willingness to actively support these initiatives. Additional information & benefits This is a UK-based remote position.
