Experience required…
Essential:
1. At least a Level 4 Diploma in building control, an ONC/HNC in building, a construction-related or building control degree and/or have Membership of RICS or ABE.
2. Strong knowledge of relevant building legislation and regulations.
3. Ability to assess plans and drawings accurately.
4. Experience in site inspections.
5. Experience in on-call rota for dangerous structures.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Diligent, proactive with attention to detail.
8. Familiarity and competence in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
9. Full UK/EU Driving Licence.
Desirable:
1. Local Authority experience.
