Role: Children's Residential Care Worker - Waking Nights
Location: Bloxwich, Walsall
Hours: 10pm to 8am
Shift Pattern: Week 1 - 4 on, 3 off
Week 2 - 3 on, 4 off
Salary: Up to **£14 per hour (overtime may also be available)
Job Type: Permanent, 36hr contract
Nurtured Future Living are looking to recruit for Waking Nights Children's Residential Care Worker to join our team.
Do you want to be part of a devoted team of care workers working in one of our beautiful Ofsted Registered Children's homes in Bloxwich?
We provide a safe, stable and caring environment for children and young people to make their home.
Our children and young people's ages range from 8 up to 18 years old and they have often experienced high levels of trauma, neglect, and crisis in their young lives, resulting in them experiencing complex challenges.
What is essential for this role?
* At least 12 months experience within a children's residential setting.
* An NVQ/Diploma Level 3, or equivalent, in Children & Young people is essential for this role.
What will be expected from you as a Residential Care Worker?
* Creating positive relationships and meeting the needs of our children and young people
* Using your experience and skills - further developed with our support and training, you will assist with the care of our children and young people
* An excellent understanding of safeguarding
* An ability to articulate and ensure comprehensive record keeping
* Preferred - Previous experience within an OFSTED regulated residential setting
* Preferred - Driver with full UK driving licence
