Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of one of our Liverpool secondary schools who are looking for a full-time Clerk to Governors in administration tasks.
The role is to as soon as possible and is a permanent position.
The role
To provide support to the Trustees and Governors including the clerking of regular evening meetings as required.
To provide administration support to other areas of the school as required.
This full-time position will pay up to £23,144, 37 hours per week.
Main Duties :
To support the Clerk to Governors in planning, arranging and monitoring a schedule of meetings for the Board, sub committees and each school's Local Governing Body - will involve some evening work as required.
To support the Clerk to Governors with preparing documentation required for meetings.
To attend and keep accurate records of Board, Board sub-committees and Local Governing Body meetings, collating and distributing agendas, minutes, meeting papers and other relevant documentation as required.
Assist with administrative requirements associated with the appointment and resignation of Governors and Trustees, including statutory registers / filings and to monitor terms of office.
To maintain and regularly monitor the Trust 'Register of Business and Personal interests'.
To support the Clerk to Governors in ensuring compliance with statutory governance requirements through the collation of information or amendments to our websites.
To assist in the collation and preparation of statistics, management information and reports relating to Governance.
Assist with arranging, developing and maintaining programmes of induction, recruitment and training for governors and to monitor and record governor participation and engagement with training.
To provide efficient administration for other central areas as required.
To liaise with professional bodies, outside agencies, other schools and organisations.
Contribute to and uphold the school's vision and ethos.
