Are you an experienced Industrial Pipefitter looking for your next contract in the South West of England ? We are hiring for a 3-6 month contract that offers a competitive day rate and falls i nside IR35. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of industrial projects in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair industrial pipe systems, including high-pressure and low-pressure pipelines.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan pipefitting work.
Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using various hand and power tools.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
Collaborate with other trades and project teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely project completion.
Test pipe systems for leaks, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience as an Industrial Pipefitter in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in welding, threading, and assembling different types of pipes.
Valid certifications relevant to pipefitting (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
