Our JM Glendinning North Yorkshire office is currently recruiting due to continue success, and we are looking for an experienced Account Handler with either Commercial or Personal Lines experience. The opportunity As an Account Handler, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients and their insurance policies. You will work closely with the clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and ensure they receive the best insurance solutions. The role is based at our North Yorkshire office which is nestled between Scarborough & Pickering, with the flexibility of hybrid working to support work-life balance. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance requirements and providing professional guidance. Policy Administration: Handle the end-to-end administration of personal insurance policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. Renewals and Upselling: Proactively manage policy renewals, identify upselling opportunities, and contribute to the growth of the client portfolio. Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging products to provide informed advice to clients. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to deliver comprehensive and effective insurance solutions. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience as a Personal Lines or Commercial Account Handler or a similar role within the insurance industry. Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Proficient in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office.
