Andesite Partners is delighted to be working with an industry-leading EV charging business backed by a global private equity firm. Since its inception and the cash injection by the investors, our client has expanded its operations across the UK to support sustainable transport growth. Positioned at the forefront of EV infrastructure development, the company is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead its human resources function and support strategic growth.
Position Summary:
The Head of HR will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a robust HR strategy aligned with the company’s ambitious growth plans. This individual will be responsible for cultivating a high-performance culture, optimising talent acquisition and retention efforts, and building a framework for employee engagement and development. Reporting to the CEO, the Head of HR will ensure compliance with UK employment regulations and will champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and facilitate rapid scaling.
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management efforts to attract and retain top industry talent.
* Oversee performance management systems to foster a high-performance culture.
* Drive employee relations and engagement initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law and implement effective HR policies and practices.
* Manage compensation, benefits, and reward programmes, ensuring competitiveness within the market.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a high-growth or PE-backed company.
* Strong understanding of HR best practices, UK employment law, and organisational develop
* ment.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in the EV or technology sector is advantageous but not essential.
