KS2 Teacher
Milk Education are seeking a purpose-driven, ambitious Primary Teacher to join a Primary School in the L7 area of Liverpool. This role is supporting a Year 6 class from January to May 2025!
You’ll be joining an amazing school, focused on inclusivity and child development. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 6 pupils, whilst another member of staff is taking small groups out the class for SATs intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of KS2 pupils
* Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching strategies to enhance students’ understanding and enjoyment of learning
* Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support students’ academic and personal development.
* Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.
* Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and achievements.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in KS2
* Experience with the SATs curriculum
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.
