Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
2. Ensure students understand and apply scientific concepts in a practical, real-world context.
3. Monitor and assess student progress through regular feedback, coursework, and exams, supporting them in achieving their full potential.
4. Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom, implementing behaviour management strategies when necessary.
5. Collaborate with fellow teachers to create an engaging and innovative science curriculum.
6. Provide additional support to students who require help in understanding challenging topics.
7. Stay up-to-date with advancements in science education and incorporate them into your teaching.
Requirements:
8. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Science or a related subject.
9. Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary school level.
10. Strong knowledge of the UK science curriculum, with the ability to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics confidently.
11. Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
12. Passionate about inspiring students to develop a love for science.
