Data Management Consultant (SC Cleared)
About the Role:
Our client, a leading organisation in the defence sector, is seeking a skilled Data Management Consultant to join their team on a 6-month contract. As a key member of their team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management and governance of their critical data assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement data management policies, standards, and procedures
* Conduct data audits and assessments to identify and address data quality issues
* Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability
* Support data migration and integration activities
* Design and implement data retention and archival policies
* Provide guidance on data security and privacy best practices
* Identify and mitigate data risks and vulnerabilities
Required Skills and Experience:
* Active SC clearance is essential
* Strong understanding of data management principles and methodologies
* Experience in data governance and data quality management
* Knowledge of data privacy regulations and industry standards
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Contract Details:
* Inside IR35
* Daily rate: £500 - £550 per day
* Contract duration: 6 months
* Regular travel to a site in the Bristol area
