The role:
An exciting opportunity to join British Airways Engineering as a Business Manager on an 12-month FTC has arisen!
Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of key transformation initiatives, leading on improving the performance, tone and quality of exec stakeholder management, and driving improvements across engineering through analysis, collaboration and stakeholder advocacy.

What you’ll do:
1. Own and lead projects, initiatives and insights across the Engineering directorate, liaising with Engineering departments and central directorates
2. Proactively recognise and mitigate barriers to cross-functional initiatives and can act as an intermediary across engineering and other directorates
3. Own and lead in preparing Exec-level presentations and reports (. for Management Committee/ Board/IAG/Industry Presentations) liaising with relevant departments
4. Responsible for providing content from the Engineering leadership team to internal comms team for dissemination across Engineering and wider BA
5. Effectively use and continuously improve engineering analysis and insights
6. Champion digital transformation across engineering, leading relevant transformation initiatives
7. Create and manage meaningful metrics to uncover areas for improvement and to track impact of process changes

Your experience:
15. Track record of establishing relationships to deliver improvements is essential.
16. Experience of working in a team environment, as well as independently and autonomously
17. Experience of working closely with senior leaders and helping to develop and deliver business strategy
18. Outstanding MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
