We are actively seeking a M+E Engineer or site manager to join our client's existing team. In this role, you will engage in early contract works, liaising with designers to ensure planned projects are suitable and fit the requirements from the client brief, plan and manage the installation of these MEICA works, and then commission and hand over the works back to the client. The works are across the Essex and Anglia region.
Our client is a contractor who tends to be involved in most types of large-scale UK projects, delivering sustainable, innovative, and expert solutions to their clients. They are offering a long-term role, paying a competitive day rate for the right person.
Responsibilities:
1. Regularly producing reports to update senior managers
2. Coordinating and planning the creation of assets and delivery
3. Reviewing designs and drawings and having the ability to improve/alter to enhance designs and drawings
4. Managing subcontractors
5. Delivering commercial and technical analysis in the handover stage
6. Commissioning works as and when they are complete
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A relevant degree or postgraduate certification is ideal but not essential
2. Able to display previous experience in a similar role working on MEICA projects
3. Previous experience with a main contractor, working on water processing projects
4. CSCS Card
