Qualifications:
We are looking for a Junior Digital Mock-Up (DMU) Engineer.
This role is based in BGS EASA Modifications site in Frimley, Surrey with hybrid working options. Travel to other sites is expected with occasional international travel.
DMU Review and Analysis:
1. Perform comprehensive Digital Mock-Up (DMU) reviews of aircraft interior designs to identify potential issues and ensure alignment with project requirements.
2. Analyze and interpret DMU data to validate the fit, form, and function of interior components and assemblies.
3. Identify and resolve interference, clearance, and integration issues within the DMU environment.
Collaboration and Communication:
4. Work closely with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure accurate and efficient integration of interior components.
5. Participate in design reviews, providing technical input and recommendations to improve design quality and manufacturability.
6. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations.
Compliance and Standards:
7. Ensure that interior designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality policies.
8. Conduct regular audits of DMU data to verify adherence to engineering and regulatory standards.
Continuous Improvement:
9. Identify opportunities for process improvements in DMU review and analysis procedures.
10. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of DMU evaluations.
Documentation and Reporting:
11. Maintain accurate records of DMU reviews, including issues identified, resolutions, and lessons learned.
12. Generate detailed technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
