Your new role
You will be required to handle a range of property law matters, including leases, licences and sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, and disposables and acquisitions.
You will also be required to provide aprehensive legal service to the organisation, taking personal responsibility for handling matters and giving advice.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Manage a heavy workload ofmercial property work including the drafting andpletion of leases, licences, sales and purchases of land, disposals and acquisitions with minimal supervision- To work autonomously and also as part of a team and to prioritise workloads to meet the needs of the customer and the service- Experience in development projects including drafting andpletion of conditional agreements for lease- Ability to give detailed and accurate advice in all areas of freehold and leasehold property law and to carry out research when necessary
- Provide support and guidance for the trainee solicitors and Legal Officers within the team as and when required
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 5 years PQE experience inmercial landlord and tenant law- Relevant experience ofplex freehold disposals including experience of dealing with unregistered land and deduction of title- Experience of dealing with applications under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 (desired but not essential)- Experience is using a case management system and other IT systems
