Job description
My client is based in the centre of Manchester and they are currently recruiting for a Client Portfolio Manager to join their investment team.
1. Acting as a point of contact
2. Communicate professionally, courteously, and effectively with Clients by telephone, email, letter, and face-to-face
3. Assisting with long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients
4. Identifying business development opportunities within the existing client base
5. Working alongside Senior Client Manager following meetings to discuss the client's circumstances and be involved in creating and implementing a financial strategy to meet the client's financial objectives and circumstances
6. Maintaining ongoing relationships with the clients, keeping them informed, answering queries, and arranging review meetings
7. Identifying client needs at a review and undertaking preparation, collaborating with other colleagues and teams where appropriate
8. Articulating our services to clients and identifying business opportunities based on their needs
9. Understanding the needs of our clients and be able to respond effectively with appropriate service suggestion
10. Ensuring all clients are contacted on a regular basis
11. Ensuring client facing documents are accurate and appropriate for the client
Whats needed:
12. Solid investment industry experience
13. Good client service skills
14. Investment Advice Diploma is essential (or close to completion)
