Our client provides roofing and waterproofing products and systems to the Construction Industry and are looking for a Technical Coordinator. The role is office based, working within the Technical Department, the Technical Coordinator role involves administration of Field Technical staff calendars, administering health and safety requirements related to the Technical Department, assisting Field Technicians in product testing and reporting, providing technical advice both internally to sales / marketing teams and externally to clients, customers and installers, plus the production of technical documents and Project Specifications. Excellent communication skills will be fundamental to the role. Full training and support within the role will be given.
Responsibilities of the Technical Coordinator:
* To liaise with and coordinate Field Technicians’ calendars recognising the type of testing required and to ensure the correct information is provided to them.
* Assist in the production of risk assessments and method statements.
* Collate and record all necessary information from testing and development.
* Carry out in house product testing and trials alongside experienced Field Technicians.
