If so, Randstad are recruiting for a Personal Advisor to join Leaving Care Team in Rochdale Council. This is a full-time role offering range upto £16.89.

Key Responsibilities:
11. Focus on supporting young people, including asylum seekers, as they transition out of the care system and into adulthood.
12. Provide ongoing support to care leavers, ensuring their needs are met in line with statutory guidelines.
13. Engage in direct work with young people and the key figures in their lives.
14. Participate in the office-based duty system, assisting with urgent cases.
15. Promote the safety and protection of children and young people, with a focus on preventing exploitation.
16. Facilitate community-based activities to enhance young people's independence and integration into adult life.
17. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and attend relevant meetings, training, and functions.
18. Contribute to the development and improvement of the Leaving Care Service.
Requirements:
19. NVQ Level 3 in Care of Children and Young People or equivalent qualification.
20. Previous experience in a similar role working with vulnerable children and young people.
21. Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
22. Ability to build trusting relationships with young people from diverse backgrounds.
23. A full UK driving licence is desirable, though not essential.
