Clinical Transformation Project Support Officer
Come and join our great team! The team supports Integrated Care Systems to deliver clinical transformation and improvement, helping them to reduce unwarranted clinical variation and to effectively deliver prioritised transformation of health and care across the South West.
We provide both, challenge, and support to our systems to achieve the desired outcomes of relevant national transformation initiatives, coordinating regional NHSE opportunities and managing joined up delivery across regional, national and system teams. We champion national benchmarking and good practice and share and embed improvement tools and techniques with trusts and systems as well as colleagues across the region.
The Improvement Project Support Officer is a key member of the Clinical Improvement and Transformation team, providing high quality project/programme support in the oversight, co-ordination &delivery of key improvement projects, programmes, and improvement activity across the region.
We are looking for a self-starter with excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills. You will be the first point of call to respond to queries, work collaboratively internal and external colleagues and stakeholders. Specifically, providing and contributing to updates and reports, supporting the planning and facilitation of events, workshops and meetings, and co-ordinating the improvement newsletter.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Transformation Project Support Officer will be a key member of the Clinical Transformation and Improvement team, providing high quality project/programme support in the oversight, co-ordination & delivery of key improvement projects, programmes and improvement activity across the region
With a natural ability to build strong and effective multi professional relationships, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels to develop trusted relations across the region and with your other regional and national colleagues.
Excellent planning and organisational skills will be required to support the team in delivering high quality events (including the facilitation and delivery of workshops/meetings) and project outcomes.
Clear and effective communication is key to this role, providing both verbal and written updates and reports as required by the project leads.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. Job responsibilities
To support the Clinical Improvement and Transformation team to deliver a range of business initiatives and projects
* Support, monitor and report on project activities.
* Provide support in the writing and finalising of papers, briefs and communication pieces.
* Provide administrative support to the team as required, including taking minutes or notes of meetings.
* Support workshop and event planning, including content, ensuring that project teams are fully prepared for meetings with supporting paperwork and information,
* Provide information to project leads on project related matters.
* Maintain data/information collection systems for its effective use by the team
* To support processes to monitor, interpret and quality assure progress against deliverables across projects/programmes
* Improve our ways of working by collating and implementing lessons learned from projects, processes and procedures.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or equivalent previous proven experience
Knowledge and experience
* Strong oral and written communications skills in a politically sensitive environment
* Ability to draft agendas and reports for project board
* Ability to prepare and present basic project/programme documentation
* Able to work on own initiative, organising and prioritising own and other workloads to changing and often tight deadlines
* Skills for communication on complex information and administrative matters, requiring developed interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
Skills Capabilities & Attributes
* Basic knowledge of project and improvement principles
* Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis
* Ability to pull together comprehensive draft reports, data and letters
