Walker House, part of Community Links, is a service within the Inspire North Group that supports vulnerable individuals and families in their journey to independence. We offer housing-related support to residents across two properties in North Leeds, providing a safe and nurturing environment for personal growth.
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional mental health and independent living support to our residents. You'll foster therapeutic relationships, encourage co-production, and empower individuals to achieve their personal and social goals. You will use your leadership skills to provide supervision, mentorship, and guidance to support workers, fostering a collaborative and inspiring team environment.
Responsibilities:
* A creative, flexible and imaginative approach to working with people with mental health diagnosis.
* An understanding of housing management and support work, how to work safely, including managing risk, personal safety and lone working.
* Experience of supervising employees, working with clients in community settings and managing caseloads.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including accuracy and attention to detail.
* Access to a car for work purposes and hold a full current UK driving licence.
