The Head of Digital Sales plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the digital sales operation. Their purpose revolves around leading a team of digital sales executives to achieve sales targets, maximise revenue, and enhance customer satisfaction.
The Hybrid role based in Nottingham - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Execute on the strategic vision for the sales department.
- Lead, inspire, and develop the sales team to achieve targets, focusing on skills development and career progression.
- Monitor and measure their team against performance metrics and review systems to drive accountability and high achievement within the team.
- Work with sales operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness, including supporting the implementation of new technologies or sales methodologies.
- Sit at the top table of the wider business line/regional sales organisation and actively engage in discussions and improvements for growth across the team.
- Day-to-day people management - Managing and delivering on their own team’s quota - developing a cadence around this, for example, forecast management.
- Develop strong relationships with key C-suite and Executive personas. Orchestrate account strategies, leading a cross-functional virtual team, including Solutions Consultants, Solutions Specialists, Success resources, Partners, and Marketing professionals.
Skills and Experience
- Strategic Planning and Forecasting:Proficiency in developing and executing strategic visions for sales, including accurate forecasting and market analysis.
- Sales Team Leadership and Motivation:Ability to lead, inspire, and develop a sales team towards achieving targets, focusing on skills development and career progression.
- Performance Management and Reporting: Skills in monitoring and measuring team performance against metrics, using review systems to drive accountability and high achievement.
- Sales Operations and Process Optimisation: Expertise in working with sales operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, including the implementation of new technologies and methodologies.
- Executive-Level Networking and Relationship Management: Competence in building and maintaining relationships with key C-suite and executive personas, influencing strategic discussions for growth.
- Day-to-Day People Management: Ability to manage and deliver on team quotas, with a structured approach to forecast management and daily operations.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership:Experience orchestrating account strategies and leading cross-functional teams, including Solutions Consultants, Specialists, Success Resources, Partners, and Marketing Professionals.
