A respected secondary school in Brentwood, rated "Good" by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time, long-term supply position with the potential to become permanent. We are looking for an inspiring History Teacher who is passionate about bringing the subject to life for KS3 and KS4 students. The selected candidate must have QTS or demonstrable experience teaching the UK curriculum-this is essential and non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and structured History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students in line with the UK curriculum.
Prepare students for assessments, helping to enhance their understanding and appreciation of history.
Work collaboratively with the school's History department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students in Brentwood, creating an inclusive learning environment.
Contribute positively to the school community and uphold the values of our Brentwood school.
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience teaching the UK curriculum (essential).
Experience teaching History at the secondary level, particularly across KS3 and KS4.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with a commitment to student success.
