This wonderful community based primary school, in the heart of Shepherd's Bush is looking for a passionate and reliable teaching assistant to join their family-feel team this summer term. The role is within the reception class, where you will be supporting a child on a 1:1 basis with non-verbal autism. You will be supporting the child with their learning, play time, activities and providing personal care.
For an experienced special needs teaching assistant, this is an opportunity for you to hit the ground running. If you are successful there will be opportunities to showcase your skills and run intervention groups as well as provide support within other year groups.
For someone with no experience but looking for a role within education, this is a great school with plenty of training and support on the job. This is the perfect opportunity to gain classroom experience before taking on teacher training or to grow your skills supporting children with SEN.
