The Role:
* Preparing and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
* Scheduling meetings, appointments and court dates
* Maintaining and organising case files
* Audio and copy typing
* Performing legal research
* Handling confidential information
* Communicating with clients, solicitors, and court officials
* Assisting with billing and invoice processing
* Supporting the team with administrative duties as required
* Office-based
Profile
A successful Legal Secretary should have:
* Experience in a similar role
* Typing skills
* Proficient knowledge of legal terminology, regulations and court system
* Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, etc.)
* Outstanding time-management and typing skills
* Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
