Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be exclusively assisting our client with the recruitment of a Group Marketing Director. Our client is a growing High-End hospitality group that is looking to establish a Marketing function that will help with their brand as they scale.
This is a newly created position with my client and they are interested in speaking to candidates coming from a hospitality chain, hotel, retail background. My client would also be interested in candidates coming from a fast-paced Marketing Agency.
Duties
1. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and marketing efforts.
2. Develop & lead on brand projects & promotional campaign calendar.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive groupwide marketing strategy aligned with revenue goals.
4. Manage hotel-based advertising, both print & digital.
5. Management support of the member’s and gift voucher programmes.
6. Conduct analysis of guest review data to understand the needs and attitudes of the guests.
7. Maintain awareness of competitor activity and the factors influencing the hotel industry.
8. Work closely with members of the hotel management & commercial team to identify marketing opportunities & priorities.
9. Managing the relevant marketing costs in line with budget expectations.
10. Develop a good working relationship & day to day management of agency partners (e.g. Brand Companies, etc.).
11. Support the wider Marketing team in delivering the overall team’s objectives.
12. Conduct PR activities.
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
2. 8-10 years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in the hospitality industry.
3. Multi property experience.
4. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and media relations.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
