About the Role
Our client is seeking a Financial Manager with experience in a similar role to join their growing team in Farnham. You will be responsible for managing the financial operations, ensuring their financial health and optimizing their financial performance. The ideal candidate would have experience within construction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial planning and analysis: Create financial plans and forecasts, develop budgets, and analyze financial data to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
2. Cash flow management: Manage the company's cash flow, ensuring that there is sufficient cash on hand to meet financial obligations and fund the company's growth.
3. Financial reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, board members, and other stakeholders, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Tax and regulatory compliance: Ensure that the company is in compliance with all tax laws and regulations, and for filing tax returns and other required financial reports.
5. Risk management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.
6. Financial strategy development: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability, including identifying new revenue streams, optimizing pricing strategies, and managing expenses.
