Aspire People are recruting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant, to work in a Resource Base within a mainstream school in Shard End.
This role will be working alongside 4 other supportive members of staff (3 Teaching assistants, and 1 class teacher).
You will be working mainly 1:1 with a child with Autism and global delay, who is non-verbal; utilising their sensory and interactive resources to support the child's development, however you may be required to support other children also.
The child that you will be working with is in Year 2, but working to the EYFS curriculum, so previous experience with SEND and EYFS is essential.
This role starts ASAP - July 2025, and is 5 days per week.
Requirements for our Teaching Assistant Roles:
*Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification (or an equivalent for ratio purposes)
*Experience with children who have additional needs
*Experience within a Primary School (preferably 6+ months)
*Updated and clean DBS on the update service.
*The ability to inspire children.
*To work as part of a team
