Location: Ledbury, UK
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Salary: Up to £35k per annum (based on experience)
Flexible Work: Work-from-home option 1 day per week after successful completion of a 6-month probation

Your efforts in supplier management, cost-saving initiatives, and strategic procurement will play a pivotal role in our success.
Key Responsibilities: -Buyer (Procurement) – Ledbury, Herefordshire
* Supplier Management: Lead supplier selection strategies, conduct regular audits, manage KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams to align on cash flow, payment terms, stock levels, packaging, and compliance.
* Negotiation & Cost Optimisation: Perform supplier reviews and negotiate service levels and pricing to achieve business objectives.
* System & Vendor Management: Manage system updates, vendor cards, pricing breaks, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
* Inventory Planning: Plan inventory with a focus on sales demand, stock safety levels, and cash flow optimisation.
* Supplier Development: Introduce new suppliers through controlled processes, including ethical and quality compliance audits.
* Strategic Agreements: Draft and support Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and supplier contracts, while maintaining commodity strategies.
What We’re Looking For: -Buyer (Procurement) – Ledbury, Herefordshire
* Experience in Buyer/Procurement or supply chain role
* Solid understanding of global procurement practices and code of conduct.
* Strong proficiency in Excel, with experience in ERP systems (MS Dynamics Navision or SAP is ideal but training can be provided).
* CIPS qualification is a plus, or the ambition to achieve it.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and analyze data to drive decisions.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
* A full clean driving licence.
