The SAL Coordinator reports directly to the Supply Chain Security Manager and is the primary point of contact in providing administration support and advice to ensure the security assurance of classified information processed within the Rolls-Royce Submarines Ltd (RRSL) supply chain.

What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:
1. You will be processing Security Aspect Letter (SAL) request forms, producing and issuing of SALs to RRSL Suppliers
2. You will be maintaining SAL Database ensuring details are correct and current
3. You will engage with RRSL Procurement function, Project teams and Suppliers
4. You will act as the first point of contact for all Supply Chain Security matters and maintenance of the Supply Chain Security inbox
5. You will support the Supply Chain Security Manager, develop and maintain Supply Chain Security Assurance plan and Supplier Security risk register and Supplier Security Assurance framework
6. You will support the site Security Management Team with security tasking's as required

To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
7. Experience of administration of databases and other reporting methods in conjunction with risk assessments andreporting
8. Knowledge of security controls associated with Government Security Classification Policy and Government Functional Standard 007 (Security) GovS 007
9. Able to work independently as well as within a team
10. Good communication skills
11. Knowledge and experience within Microsoft Office applications

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
