Our client in Leeds are looking for a Teacher to support KS3 children (class up to 6 pupils.) The school supports children from the age of 5 up to 18; the young people in school have a range of SEND needs predominately SEMH, Autism, ADHD, FASD and ACEs.
The school are looking for a Teacher who will ensure children can thrive and flourish in a safe learning environment and reach their full potential in life. Students have access to a broad curriculum leading to external accreditation which include GCSEs, functional skills, ASDAN, Entry Level and AQA awards. There is a key focus on next steps and aspiration throughout school so they’re looking for a Teacher who will adopt these qualities.
The ideal candidate will need to :
* Relevant experience Teaching KS3 pupils
* Have experience/ willing to teach in an SEMH setting
* To undertake any other duties commensurate with the post as directed by the Senior Leadership Team
* To provide a safe secure educational setting based on nurture principles
* To work within the wider service team to facilitate the provision of education to pupils
