Pastoral Support Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Location: Hertford, Secondary School
Salary: 85 - 95 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Support Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive secondary school in Hertford. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for supporting young people, ensuring their well-being, and fostering a positive and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide emotional and pastoral support to students across the school.
2. Act as a point of contact for students experiencing personal, social, or emotional challenges.
3. Work with students and staff to ensure positive behavior and school engagement.
4. Support attendance initiatives and work closely with students and families to improve attendance where needed.
5. Assist in the planning and delivery of interventions that promote well-being and mental health.
6. Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and external agencies to provide holistic support to students.

2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
