What You’ll Do:
Personalised Support: Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with autism, helping them succeed academically and socially.
️ Develop & Implement IEPs: Work closely with teachers to create and execute Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to each student’s unique needs.
Inclusive Classroom Environment: Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where students feel safe, understood, and encouraged.
Monitor Progress: Track student progress and regularly update parents, teachers, and external professionals on their development.
✨ Positive Behaviour Strategies: Utilise autism-specific strategies to manage behavior, encourage communication, and build social skills.
Adapt Learning Materials: Modify academic resources to ensure all students can engage fully with the curriculum.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and specialists to provide consistent, well-rounded support for every child.
Continuous Learning: Take part in staff meetings and professional development to stay at the forefront of autism support techniques.

What You Bring:
✅ Experience: Previous experience working with children with autism in an educational setting is essential.
Qualifications: A background in Special Education, Teaching Assistance, Psychology, or a related field.
Autism Knowledge: Familiarity with autism-specific interventions and strategies to support learning and behavior.
Positive Attitude: You’re passionate about helping children with autism reach their full potential and approach every day with patience, empathy, and optimism.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are always ready to support your team and share ideas.
Organisational Skills: Attention to detail and good organisational abilities to keep track of student progress and learning goals.
