Are you a detail-oriented individual with prior customer service or administrative experience in an office setting? We are seeking a Payroll Compliance Officer to join our great professional services client just north of St Albans in great modern offices.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate compliance of the companies data and payroll while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Your exceptional attention to detail and administrative skills will be crucial in ensuring our payroll operations run smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Collecting and verifying employee time records and leave data
* Calculating pay rates, deductions, and other payroll components
* Preparing and distributing pay stubs and reports
* Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
* Assisting with audits and compliance reviews
What You'll Need as Payroll Compliance Officer:
1. Previous experience in Payroll, compliance customer service, administration, or a related field in an office based environment is essential
2. A Commitment to a professional working environment with training on offer
3. Strong numerical and data entry skills
