Private Wealth Management, Payments Product Management, Vice President - London YOUR IMPACT
As a Payments Product Manager, you are pivotal in providing the direction and end to end management of the Payments products, with responsibility for defining and implementing the Payments Product business strategy, understanding the risks associated with the product, development of new products andmercialization of these products. The role requires a deep understanding of payment rails including cross border/cross currency solutions. Understanding of client challenges/opportunities and industry trends will be required as inputs into the Payments strategic product roadmap andmercialization strategy. You will join a team of creative and driven product managers to help build digital solutions to empower the client and advisor relationship.

Private Wealth Management (PWM)
Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creatingprehensive wealth management plans for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities, and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning, and private banking and lending services. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
1. Operating as a subject matter expert across global payments solutions, including payment rails and the domestic and cross-border payment product solutions that leverage these rails ( SWIFT, FPS, CHAPS, BACS, SEPA, SEPA Instant, TARGET2).
2. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the PWM business goals, processes, and players, and collaborate closely with them to drive product requirements and success
3. Support and develop product strategy and roadmap with our team, customers, and partners
4. Assist in the execution of the product roadmap by writing user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for technology development
5. Partner with colleagues in engineering, design, operations, and program management to allow for seamless execution
6. Solicit stakeholder input and coordinate amongst multiple groups to inform requirements, including Business, Legal,pliance, Operations, and Engineering
7. Monitorpetitive best practices and analyze end-user feedback - identifying and developing solutions when necessary
8. Engage with partner vendors to ensure they address product needs
9. Leverage analytics and data to inform the product roadmap
10. Influence the direction of the product roadmap through deep analytic perspectives
11. Parse larger product feature projects into smallerponents while understanding dependencies
12. Document andmunicate operational workflows
13. Translateplex requirements into clear and actionable next steps for impacted groups
14. Understand, document, and improve existing processes in order to maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environments
15. Participate in ideation activities, product feasibility assessments, business case preparation, and overall product definition (feature lists and prioritization)
16. Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and build strong relationships with them
17. Apply your problem-solving skills to create a plan to solve gaps and shape the future of how PWM services its clients
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
18. Detailed payment rail knowledge ( SWIFT, SEPA, BACS, TARGET2) and the ability to identify risks and controls associated with payments products
19. Bachelor's Degree required
20. 7+ years of work experience in the Financial Services sector, ideally with product management experience in an agile product development environment; wealth management experience ideal but not required
21. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills with the ability to lead working group calls and training calls, and adjust content according to the respective audience, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment
22. Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize differing requirements
23. Strong attention to detail; strong logical and analytical thinker
24. Demonstrate a high degree of personal accountability, going above and beyond to ensure that products are delivered on time with a high degree of quality
