on-site- Seascale, CumbriaThe Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Construction Engineer to join a world-leading, nuclear defence client based out of Sellafield, Cumbria.
Job Overview:
The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield's 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original wasteplants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building.
Some of your duties will include:
Management and coordination of all the elements of mechanical plant and equipment installation
Processing isometrics and drawings in accordance with project requirements and issuing construction packages to the installation supervisors, including availability of approved RAMS, permits and lifting plans.
Coordinating plant and equipment installation, inclusive of sub-contract activities and ensuring all scaffolding and tools are available.
Reviewing and reporting the weekly progress against the programme with the M, E & I Installation ManagerWhat do you need to succeed?
Experience of fulfilling a mechanical engineering role on Construction projects
Previous experience of project delivery on a nuclear licenced site.
Formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering, (minimum HNC)
