As part of our ongoing expansion, we seek Materials Planner and Analyst to join our team.
Position Summary

The Materials Planner and Analyst is responsible for ensuring high levels of material availability to internal and external customers and will support both Production and Servicing operations of the organisation.
Listed below are the key responsibilities of the role and a brief description of some of the key tasks to be performed. This list is not totally inclusive, and the job holder will be expected to complete tasks reasonably requested by the Supply Chain Manager or Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Accuracy and System Support
* Maintain high accuracy in SAP Item Master and planning data.
* Build and update Bill of Materials (BoMs) for manufacturing components and servicing spares in alignment with approved configurations.
2. Production and Reporting
* Plan and execute SAP Production Orders to support the manufacturing plan. Identify material shortages and raise concerns with the Supply Chain Manager.
* Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other metrics using software such as PowerBi or SAP analytics.
* Create and manage a reporting system to ensure timely and accurate data delivery to relevant areas of the business.
3. Process Improvement
* Lead the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) process to ensure timely purchase orders.
* Support organisational transformation projects and improve operational processes.
* Provide SAP guidance and support, becoming a subject matter expert in the system.
Skills and Experience
o Experience in a similar role within the medical, manufacturing, or related sector.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
o Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems, such as SAP.
o Strong analytical abilities with experience in handling complex datasets.
o Ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams, including Production, Purchasing, Servicing, Quality, Engineering, and Finance.
o High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
o Adaptability in a continuously evolving environment with a keen eye for detail.
o Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
o Undergraduate degree in a related subject or similar demonstratable experience
o A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a materials planning role (essential).
o Formal Lean 6 Sigma training an advantage.
