The role of the Technical Project Manager will help deliver pre-construction/construction activities for our clients on both pre-construction design and in live project settings.

Responsibilities...
* Provide electrical engineering input to projects that are in design and work in progress.
* Provide the relevant support and advice to secure potential projects and opportunities from client interaction to involvement in the tender and bidding process.
* Attend regular technical meetings with the client and internal teams.
* Review specification and drawings and generate RFI and CDE documents applicable to each project review.
* Review and lead technical review of any outsourced specialist equipment such as LV Switchgear, accessories and busbar products.
* Assist in contract negotiations and ensure all parties involved have a clear understanding of their obligations.
* Monitor the performance of each assigned project.
* Responsible for coordinating every aspect of the project with site management teams.
* Participate in negotiations to agree extra work to be done on the contract, resolve any disputes.
* Manage, mentor junior engineers that are supporting this role
* Provide clear leadership and guidance to the different teams across assigned sites while maintaining a professional manner.
* Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their expectations are met.
* Meet regular with the client, stakeholders, and operations managers to discuss project progression.
* Identify challenges and potential improvements to processes and devise plans to implement these changes.

* 3rd Level qualification or relevant trade industry experience with proven track record
* Experience working on electrical packages either as a contracts manager or site based foreman would be advantageous.
* Experience in purchasing and negotiating with supply chain and sub-contractors
* Exceptional attention to detail with thoroughness and accuracy
* Ability to analyse and understand every provision and requirement of a contract.
* Knowledgeable of the contract life cycle
* Negotiation and collaboration skills
* Adept at communicating.
* Possess excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to co-ordinate with internal BIM/CAD teams to build out designs
* Be point of contact for technical guidance across projects
