Job Description
* Support the procurement and supply chain functions of the company
* Handle vendor relations and order management
* Assist in the negotiation of contracts and pricing
* Ensure timely delivery of products
* Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing
* Coordinate with team members to meet company-wide procurement objectives
* Contribute to inventory control and management
* Comply with company policies and procurement standards
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchasing Assistant should have:
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Proven experience in a similar role within the procurement and supply chain department
* Sound knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
