Would you like to support children with SEMH and a variety of behavioural needs to help pupils get back into a mainstream setting?
This TA role will be ideal if you have experience with SEND/SEMH needs and are looking for part-time hours.
This TA role involves:
* Working with children who may have additional needs or are looked after children
* Can be 1:1 or 2:1 work
* Building rapport and a good relationship with the pupils
* Helping the tutor provide educational sessions, face to face with children at their homes or a local area e.g., library
* Keeping the child engaged with tasks are essential in this role
* De-escalating challenging behaviour
The location for this role will vary dependent on the need of the pupil but would be pre-agreed prior to commencement of the tuition. All pupils for this role however will be based in the Northumberland so access to your own vehicle will be essential.
What are we looking for in a TA?
* Previous experience working within a classroom setting
* Experience working with a variety of SEND/SEMH needs
* Have experience working with children or young people
* Implementing different behaviour strategies
To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

Working hours are within the school day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
