We have an opportunity available for a Bank Support Worker to join the team at Beyer Lodge based in Gorton, Manchester M18 8DF.

Salary: £12.00 per hour
This role covers both days and nights, the shift hours are 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am. All shifts are on a rota which covers weekends and bank holidays and you must be willing to work to this pattern if you are successful. You must be prepared to complete all training both online and face to face.

Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will have the incredible opportunity to embody our core values of kind hearts, tailor-making, dreaming big, having courage, and being ready. Your role will involve providing exceptional care and unwavering support to service users, particularly those with learning disabilities, complex needs, and behaviour that challenges.
You will provide personal care, administer medication and assist with domestic tasks. With your kind and compassionate heart, you will create an environment of warmth and care that will make service users feel seen and valued.
As a tailor-made supporter, you will have the opportunity to adjust your approach to each individual's unique needs, ensuring they receive the highest level of care possible. With courage in your heart, you will tackle any challenges that may arise with unwavering determination, knowing that your presence alone brings comfort to those who need it most.

Qualifications
It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role.
On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
