Oncology Team
There is an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to join us at the Western General Hospital as a Team Lead within the Oncology and Haematology service. The team provides specialised physiotherapy services to patients with a wide range of cancers within the Edinburgh Cancer Centre.
The post holder will lead specialist inpatient physiotherapy/rehabilitation pathways within Oncology and Haematology, including a new CAR-T service which has been established. They will manage a team of physiotherapists and physiotherapy support workers.
Candidates should have highly specialised knowledge and experience working with patients with cancer. They should be enthusiastic and empathetic and must display excellent communication skills
Previous experience of working in a cancer centre/hospice setting and experience of managing a team would be beneficial.
