Therapy Assistant
Location: The Oakleaf Group, Hartwell
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30 - 16.30
Salary: £12.44 per hour
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual - The Oakleaf Group are seeking to recruit a full-time Therapy Assistant for their service in Duston, Northampton.
Therapy Assistants work as an integral part of the Therapy Team. The role involves the planning, carrying out and evaluation of therapy programmes, facilitating sessions and the allocation/organisation of staff to ensure the successful implementation of the day to day programme.
The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary team to support any therapy needs and facilitate rehabilitation programmes and interventions as directed by the qualified therapists. The Therapy Assistant will receive direction and support from the therapy team.
There will also be an onus on delivering group sessions, therefore applicants must have confidence to manage and carry these out effectively. Therapy Assistants will be responsible for facilitating personal morning hygiene programmes on a regular basis, in order to support Occupational Therapy and other therapy disciplines.
The role is Monday – Friday however they may be the occasional event which extends outside the regular working hours therefore a degree of flexibility is advantageous. The successful applicant may be asked to work across any of the locations currently operated by The Oakleaf Group.
