Shirt in a Box: Company Background and Your Main Purpose Shirt in a Box is primarily an online retailer of mystery sports jerseys, based in Belfast, UK. Shirt in a Box sources jerseys from around the world, from various manufacturers and clubs, and sells them to customers in the UK, Ireland, and the USA through mystery boxes on its online store. Founded in 2021, Shirt in a Box has grown to a team of four full-time staff and recorded revenues of £6 million to date. Following a record-breaking year in 2022, spurred by the World Cup, the past 12 months have been a period of alignment for the brand. They’ve expanded their product range into different sports and internalised every department, no longer outsourcing any part of the business. As a result, they have built an internal team that handles all customer service, fulfilment, and marketing. The team is young, close-knit, and has a “can-do” attitude. Maximum effort and hard work are the minimum expectations – like any great sporting team. Think of the USA Dream Team or Pep’s Barcelona. This role is suited for someone who relishes a challenge rather than shies away from it. Furthermore, setting aside any ego and being willing to support various parts of the business when needed are essential. The team values diversity of thought, so football knowledge is not a requirement for this role. With plans to continue their upward trajectory, Shirt in a Box is focused on hiring a Procurement Specialist.
