What the Job Involves The role involves providing a high-quality first point of contact and triage service, assessing referrals, and conducting rapid initial assessments to determine eligibility for assistance under homelessness legislation. You will prevent or delay homelessness through early interventions and provide comprehensive advice about housing rights and options. You will create and manage cases within the Jigsaw system, ensuring all data entry is precise and completed in a timely manner. The role also entails empowering individuals, managing conflict situations, and building partnerships with various departments, agencies, and communities to expand network opportunities and ensure efficient service delivery.
