Learning & Development Business Partner, Salary + £6,000 Car allowance + other fantastic benefits
Scantec Recruitment are partnering with a leading food manufacturing group who are looking to recruit a Learning & Development Business Partner. Due to growth within the business and functional evolution, this is an exciting new regional role and supports three food manufacturing sites, one in Cardiff and two others sites in Wales / Wiltshire.
The position requires travel to all 3 sites, however hyrbid working is available and most of your time would be spent at the factory in Cardiff as this is the largest site.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is truly passionate about people development, offering the opportunity to deliver the strategy and create development programmes across multiply sites partnering directly with the leadership teams.
Learning & Development Partner – Summary of core responsibilities:
1. Business partner with the senior leadership teams to identify and develop individuals and teams.
2. Create and execute learning strategies and programs across the region, carrying out capability assessments and analysing and planning development needs.
3. Conduct varied developing people methods (e.g. coaching, mentoring, facilitation & Leadership delivery) and design a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioural and leadership programmes.
4. Utilise the group LMS reporting tools to produce management information and offer insight to the business.
5. Design and delivery experience is an essential requirement for success in this role as you’ll create and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, blended learning solutions and other development options.
6. Deliver and plan strategic key Continuous Improvement development plans. Using various tools including digital to create flexible and innovative learning programmes
7. Implement and embed the group coaching culture and encourage continuous professional development (CPD). Evaluate development value and monitor how effectively learning has been transferred to colleagues and its impact on performance.
8. Take an active role in the broader People team, keeping up to date on external L&D trends and best practice.
Ideal experience and skills:
We’re seeking a candidate who has worked in a similar Learning and Development leadership position who has business partnered with business leaders. Degree or equivalent (member of CIPD) would be advantageous.
An L&D / Coaching qualification would also be preferred but is not essential as coaching qualifications will form part of your development plan.
Excellent communication & negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders, colleagues, and leadership teams. Any current knowledge of effective learning and development methods, e-learning platforms and practices.
