Main duties of the job
What you will be responsible for:
1. Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual.
2. Be proficient in the delivery of care to patients.
3. Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies.
4. Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines.
5. Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards.
6. Undertake regular mandatory training.

Job Title: Registered Theatre Nurse
Trust: University Hospital Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust
Location : Main hospitals Plymouth.
Pay Rates: £ to £
Shift Patterns: Start times can range from as early as 7:30am to as late as 7:30pm, with finish times from 7:30am to 10pm. Earlies, mids and nights. Shifts can be 5 to 12 hours long.

9. Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What you'll need :
10. Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres
11. Registered with NMC
